Abstract
Chemoprevention has emerged as an exceedingly important prevention objective for many forms of cancer. An increasing variety of chemicals and hormones have received major attention as potential chemopreventive agents during the past several decades. Noteworthy among these is tamoxifen in the prevention of breast cancer.
