Abstract

Education--Simulation methods
New research into use of simulations for educational purposes shows that as beneficial as this method is for participants, people designing these simulations learn more than the role-players themselves. This chapter introduces trainers to the benefits of simulation design as well as providing a guide to how these advantages might be harnessed for training purposes. Sample instructions are provided for conducting simulation-design exercises as part of a workshop, training or course.
