Abstract
This chapter includes commentaries and reflections on research as accompaniment by professionals walking alongside and with communities. They highlight what, in their experience, is essential for accompanying communities, what they consider important in this volume's chapters, and what advice they can have for scholars who want to accompany others through their research. Some of these professionals are also members of the communities they work with. They are not just "outside" professionals accompanying communities but do so as "insiders," and their perspectives are likely to reflect the experience with research of others in their communities as well as their own thoughts on research as accompaniment.
