Abstract
RFID technology has many applications in animal agriculture, ranging from voluntary applications in livestock management to legally mandated compliance with government regulations. This discussion provides an overview of significant uses for RFID technology and emerging legal issues in trade, animal health, and monitoring food quality and safety.
