One can define fuzzy substructures of algebraic structures by using arbitrary t-norms. Since Min is a t-norm, the given approach which redefined the notion of a fuzzy subgroup is more general. There are many important results which hold when Min is used which do not hold when Min is replaced by an arbitrary t-norm. This paper aims to compare the two approaches in detail.
