Abstract
The College of Professional Studies has been working to develop its own assessment for the Magis Core courses that are unique to our college, meeting with experts on and off campus. In fall of 2016, we are moving toward an embedded, direct measures system of assessment. We are embedding rubrics into three of these courses: (a) CPS 200: Making the Transition to College: Strategies for Degree Completion, (b) COM 152: Civic Engagement through Public Communication, and (c) CPS 400: What Really Matters: Discernment, Conscience, Compassion. This poster will detail those efforts in written and visual forms.
