Abstract
In this study, we propose a theoretical model of factors influencing employee creativity as well as a proposed approach to testing this model. In the past, employee creativity and organizational innovation have been studied in the context of a stable work environment. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has altered the fundamentals of the traditional work environment in such a way that existing IS theories may not address creativity and innovation issues. We address this gap by proposing a theoretical model to investigate the antecedents and moderators of employee creativity and innovation in a pandemic context. © 2022 28th Americas Conference on Information Systems, AMCIS 2022.
