Abstract
Managing a mobile workforce is becoming one of the biggest challenges for organizations today. Using structured interviews, this study examines the major elements of the mobile work phenomenon from a socio-technical perspective. Recommendations to organizations that want to enhance their mobile work environment are also discussed.
