Abstract
(First paragraph of Introduction)|The development of neural projections and the establishment of functioning neural circuits are crucial developmental events in an animal's life since they underlie both perceptive and reactive components of the animal's behavior. Understanding the developmental mechanisms, at the molecular and physical levels, which underlies these events is a paramount goal in developmental neurobiology.
