Abstract

Vaccination COVID-19 Patient Education as Topic Immunization Primary Health Care
The Somali Minnesotan population has had low vaccination rates in the past. Low vaccination rates have been due to language barriers, misinformation, cultural barriers, and low health literacy levels. These findings suggested that the Somali population was at risk for under-vaccination. This was concerning considering the recent COVID-19 pandemic. This quality improvement project addressed the concern of under vaccination in the Somali population and interventions to address this issue.
