Abstract

One of the issues that continues to plague educators concerns the appropriate methodology to be utilized. A cogent example is in the teaching of arithmetic where considerable controversy prevails. It is because of this disparity of opinion, and dissatisfaction with outcomes of previous instructional procedures that the writer undertook this study. The purpose of this study was to determine the differential effect of two different Instructional procedures upon achievement in division of fractions.
