Scholars and students of literature through the ages have pondered the beautiful praises sung in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of God. Prom the beginning of His ways when the Almighty planned great things for His Mother, He willed that writers down the years pen a memorial of her. |Moses writes of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Genesis telling how God planned to punish the serpent, "I will put enmities between thee and the woman, and thy seed and her seed: she shall crush thy head, and thou shalt lie in wait for her heel.
