Abstract
This thesis will attempt to describe and assess a new emphasis in curriculum organization and methodology. The discussion will concern itself specifically with the education of candidates to the Priesthood in the Catholic Church. It is a new emphasis in this sense that it stresses an integrating principle in the educative process. To some it may appear "new” and even radical in so far as it differs so sharply with the naturalistic point of view so often met with in educational literature today. In reality, however, it is as ancient as the Church itself. In point of fact, the procedures here described purport to be the very same approaches that the Church has employed with such eminent success down through the ages.
