Abstract
The mobile multiphasic cancer detection units merit trial in all areas of the world. The high risk groups lend themselves ideally to screening programs, and certainly middle aged and elderly individuals who pose significant risk for cancer fit the criteria for early cancer detection activities. The humanitarian return from a more diligent approach to early cancer detection for the aged should speak for itself. In addition, much unnecessary expense and morbidity might be averted through cancer prevention.
