Abstract

Angiotensin receptor blocker and thiazide antihypertensive medication reduce odds of developing Alzheimer's disease (AD) in older adults. Angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor antihypertensive medications increase the odds of developing AD. Three‐year lagged and continuous use analyses confirm this class‐specific association.
