Abstract
Analysis of 34 breast cancer families (two or more first or second degree relatives with histologically verified breast cancer) revealed 11 families with associated leukemia, sarcoma, and/or brain tumors in varying combinations. This association was first reported in 1969 and has been confirmed in this study, which demonstrates clearly both the complexity and heterogeneity of genetic etiology in breast cancer.
