Abstract
The article discusses the effects of eating caffeine-laden sweets on children's sleep. According to pediatrician John Mangoni, caffeine is habit-forming, causes hyperactivity, and increases blood pressure. Parents are suggested to thoroughly check their children's bags for caffeine-laden sweets. Mars Inc. recently released limited-edition Snickers Charged, which packs 60 milligrams of caffeine, and Jelly Belly Candy Co. now sells Extreme Sport Beans, with 50 milligrams per one-ounce bag.
