Reports on the activities of the Tax Executive Committee (TEC) of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants' Tax Division. Action taken by the committee on various iterations of tax shelter legislation; Information on comments provided by the TEC to the U.S. Internal Revenue Service on proposed regulations to elect out of generation-skipping transfer deemed allocations; Efforts of the committee to simplify the current income tax system.
