Abstract
The article presents updates on the initiatives of the Tax Executive Committee (TEC) of the Association of International Certified Public Accountants Tax Division's. The TEC provided comments, to U.S. Congress on certain tax-shelter and Internal Revenue Service (IRS) procedural aspects of the Senate version of The Tax Relief Act of 2005. The TEC provided comments to the IRS on the proposed regulations implementing the domestic manufacturing deduction.
