Abstract
Eighty African American college students completed the College Student Reasons for Living Inventory (CSRLI) and reported on their self-perceived level of suicidal risk. Results indicate that the CSRLI holds promise for predicting suicidal risk among African American college students. These data are contrasted with a pre-existing Caucasian study of college students, and the implications are discussed.
