Abstract
Narration helps nurses powerfully describe the impact of their practice. The purpose of this pilot project was to identify the impact of nurses telling leadership stories and to identify whether constructs of Authentic Nursing leadership theory are evident in Narrative Nursing Leadership stories. This Narrative Nursing Leadership experience suggested a powerful impact on participants and participant well-being as evidenced by their 1-word descriptions of the experience. The narratives of nurse leaders, in this project, aligned with the Authentic Nursing Leadership framework, suggesting a need for further research into Narrative Nursing Leadership's alignment with relational leadership theories.
