Abstract
We present STAR measurements of the azimuthal anisotropy parameter [Formula presented] and the binary-collision scaled centrality ratio [Formula presented] for kaons and lambdas ([Formula presented]) at midrapidity in [Formula presented] collisions at [Formula presented]. In combination, the [Formula presented] and [Formula presented] particle-type dependencies contradict expectations from partonic energy loss followed by standard fragmentation in vacuum. We establish [Formula presented] as the value where the centrality dependent baryon enhancement ends. The [Formula presented] and [Formula presented] [Formula presented] values are consistent with expectations of constituent-quark-number scaling from models of hadron formation by parton coalescence or recombination.
