Abstract
Guided by the Center for Advanced Nursing Practice Evidence-based Practice Model and under the leader of a women's health CNS-SANE/SART coordinator, a SANE/SART program was developed, implemented, and evaluated based on response to a focused community needs assessment. The SANE/SART program brought quality improvement across the entire Women's Health program. The program scope is expanding to include the pediatric population and extending into rural communities throughout the state. An organization's commitment to provide a center of excellence in women's services demonstrates steward-based leadership to community needs. The Model will continue to be the catalyst for future program initiatives and advancing best practice.
