Abstract
This article updates the progress of the genocide trial against Saddam Hussein for the Anfal massacres of Iraqi Kurds up to an including the date of Saddam's execution for his role in the Dujail massacre of Iraqi Shi'ites. A brief analysis of defenses and trial tactics is offered, as well as commentary admonishing the Iraqi High Tribunal for refusing to continue the genocide trial against Saddam either in person or posthumously and for dropping the genocide charges against him entirely.
