Abstract

Ukraine Conflict (2014-) International and Comparative Law
While international law has failed to provide a global, regional, or specific collective security framework to prevent Russia's illegal invasion of Ukraine, it has provided Ukraine an opportunity to challenge Russia in multiple judicial fora. In so doing, Ukraine is demonstrating its rule of law bona fides, building a record on Russia's aggressive actions, and laying the groundwork for a post-war settlement.
