We report the clinical and morphologic features of a transitional cell carcinoma (TCC) that arose within a paratubal cyst of the right broad ligament. This case represents only the second report of a TCC arising in the broad ligament and the first with documented origin within a paratubal cyst. A possible explanation for this tumor’s histogenesis as it relates to the more common transitional cell neoplasms of the ovary is presented. © 1995 International Society of Gynecological Pathologists.
