Abstract
A focus question regarding yoga, neurological conditions, and prevention of falls was developed to guide an extensive database search. A literature search was executed of key terms, titles, and abstracts of articles were retrieved and saved to submitted document. Each of the three students developed and completed a Critically Appraised Paper (CAP). All articles were full text articles that met all inclusion criteria and were saved for later analysis. Specifically we looked at articles published from 2011-2021, containing research levels I & III, and participants with a neurological conditions. Yoga intervention, neurological conditions, and outcomes of fall prevention of the focus question had to be included in the articles selected. Articles must be published in a peer-review journal including systemic reviews and randomized control trials, written in English. A total of 15 full-text publications were examined. Articles that failed to meet the inclusion criteria and focus question requirements were removed from analysis. Six articles were chosen for the Evidence Table and reviewed from the remaining articles. Exclusions included published prior to 2011, did not include any portion of the focus question requirements, qualitative studies, and research articles that contain research levels II, IV, & V. The three students collaborated and developed a Critically Appraised Topic (CAT).
