Dr. David He’s laboratory focuses on characterization of genes underlying the structure and function of inner ear hair cells as well as molecular mechanisms of biological aging of hair cells by employing a variety of in vitro and in vivo experimental techniques including electrophysiology (system and cellular), immunocytochemistry, advanced imaging, mouse genetics and molecular biology.
