Expertise
My political science research currently examines the influence of individual identity characteristics on political outcomes associated with government cabinets in parliamentary democracy. I also have interests in international migration, electoral system design characteristics, and the scholarship of teaching and learning. I tend to use econometric approaches to these efforts, but am also experienced in social network analysis as well as qualitative case study work. Finally, I also do some work in the scholarship of teaching and learning - mostly in the best practices or "how to" vein. I also am the co-creator of "The Leader Ship" YouTube channel with Dr. Gargi Vyas and the "Jim Martin Does Things" YouTube Channel.
